Founded in 2006, The Stone Studio has been providing beautiful countertops for nearly two decades. The Stone Studio is the region's leading supplier of soapstone countertops. As a small company, we transcend the ordinary, offering customized natural stone projects with options for unique, hand-crafted features. Our dedicated owners, Sebastian and Angie Moster, are eager to make your next project come to life. Sebastian's background as a mechanical engineer infuses innovative problem-solving into our work, while Angie, a former teacher, finds joy in creating spaces that bring families together. Together, they have crafted The Stone Studio into more than just a business; it's a testament to their artistic precision, personalized attention, and the creation of one-of-a-kind stone features that become cherished backdrops for life's moments.

Our Process
Choose Your Stone
During your visit to our shop in Batesville, choose from our large inventory of soapstone, and smaller selection of granite, marble and quartzite stone options. If you can’t find what you are looking for in our showroom, our suppliers in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Columbus and Louisville have hundreds of options from which to choose!
Placing an Order
Once the material is selected and project details are shared, an estimate will be provided. If you decide to proceed with an order, an agreement and deposit will be required to hold your material and a place on our schedule.
The In-Home Template
Our state-of-the-art laser equipment ensures precise measurements with minimal disruption to your home. Please note, the person responsible for decision-making must be present for this scheduled appointment.
The Installation
Your countertop installation will take place approximately two to three weeks after the templating appointment. Our professional installers will require the better part of a day to install a typical kitchen. Final payment is due at the time of installation.
